Face Mask production day 7

In just one week since constructing our first face mask sample we have been overwhelmed with the support from our community.  There have been countless friends and family who have reached out to help but within 24 hours of posting this grassroots project our friends Brad & Jill Thomas www.beachcitiesortho.com reached out and supported this vision with a huge boost and gave us the confidence to get bulk production started. With Brad's guidance fit and functionality we were able to perfect our sample and start immediate production- way back when-  a week ago when the majority of people were told by the media that masks didn't help and there was no foresight about the shortage of supplies that was about to shock our...

Donating masks to frontline workers...

It's a confusing time and in the midst of the chaos, we search for a purpose and a way to help.  While we all can do our very important part by distancing ourselves & staying home, many people are called to the frontlines and we need them to continue working.  We started by creating some sample face masks made from our repurposed fabric scraps and leftover rolls of elastics that we planned on giving to whoever needs them and has developed quickly into a call to action.  I've been binge reading articles about the shortages of supplies to keep workers safe and how to contain the spreading of germs.  Hand washing is essential, not touching your face and wearing face masks help. ...
